Well Christy gave us all a scare last week and thankfully he is out of hospital and resting at home. Can I just say to the idiots who spread nasty rumours on Facebook and Twitter… Please Please think of how his family feel when they read such rubbish, visit and please stop posting it.
As you know, physician we have postponed all gigs for the month of March. Our first gig back will be in the Cork Opera House on Saturday, 18th April 2015. Support on the night will be last year’s Voice of Ireland winner, Brendan McCahey and we also have cork singer/songwriter, Darren Johnston opening the gig! The last gig in the Opera House sold out so you have been warned!
After Cork, we are in the Button Factory in Dublin’s Temple Bar on Saturday, 25th April 2015. Support at this is our good friend Dave Morrissey. Make sure to get in early!
Christy wants to thank you all for your kind messages on our Facebook page while he was in hospital. They really helped him while he was in there.
Can we send our CONGRATULATIONS to our roadie, Dazzy and Laura O’Neill on the birth of their daughter Lucy! What a great name… Here Comes Lucy…!
We had a great meeting with Roddy Doyle last week! We never knew he was into the band! He told us he goes to all the Vicar Street gigs at Christmas and loves the vibe at them. What a gentleman he is. I told him I went for an audition for The Commitments move back in the day but Glen Hansard got the part I was after!!
Thanks again for all your support. It means a lot to us.
Gotta go, see you all at the gigs!
Cheers, Billy 😉
