Hi Chums!

Isn’t it funny how you wait forever for a wedding and then three come along together! Well that’s what has happened! After Kiera’s wedding, we are all off to the wedding of our recording engineer Philip Magee to his partner Fiona Gill at the end of this month. Philip has worked on a lot of our albums and has also worked with The Script and Kodaline to name but a few. HE has a wicked sense of humour and his wedding should be a good one!!

Then in September, our Bass player Rod O’Brien is getting married to his long term partner Adrienne Kelly. This is going to be a great day!! The ceremony is in Lutteral’s Town Castle but first we have the stag party which is in Galway for 2 days in August! Bring it on!!

The second day of Kiera’s wedding was brilliant! Myself and Rod played at the BBQ and Christy got up and did three songs! Then Joe got up with us on guitar and then Darren and Kiera finished off the ngiht. It was an amazing end to a great wedding!!

Christy is doing great and we are all looking forward to getting back on the road. Again, thank you for all your good wishes for him. It really is helping him to know that people really care about him.

We are still buzzing about “A Night for Christy”. For me, the highlight was Mark Fehilly from Westlife singing “Where’s the Sun” but everyone was on the night. Even Jedward surprised a lot of people!

Before I go, can I just say… if Gerald Kean was not a solicitor, he would make a great stand up comedian! He was at our table at Kiera’s wedding and the jokes and stories he told had us all in fits of laughter! In fact, the table we were at also had his partner Lisa, Adrian Kennedy from FM104 and his wife. It made for a great day!

Cheers, Billy 😉
