What a reaction to our recent Late Late Show appearance. Our album “The Platinum Collection” went back into the charts and Vicar Street on the 27th December 2015 SOLD OUT! Wow! Thank you all so much. It is unbelievable the demand to see us live!
We have also added The Savoy in Cork on 23rd October 2015 as part of the Cork Jazz week! We’ve also added the INEC in Killarney! We can’t wait as it’s been too long since we have been down to see you all!
Christy is in great form and just this week we were on with Ray Darcy on his Radio 1 show and he invited us to be on his new TV show sometime in the future which we kindly accepted. We will let you know when it’s confirmed.
My son Jake’s band, The Valves, ampoule who are supporting us in Vicar Street are making their first TV appearance on the 9th October on a programme called Swipe TV. Keep an eye out for them and please arrive early to Vicar Street to cheer them on. They were in Westland Studios recently doing their first demo. It’s mad as Aslan recorded two albums in Westland, Feel No Shame & Waiting For This Madness To End and now my son is recording there. Happy Days!
Can I just thank the choir who are called Songs In the Key of D for an amazing performance on the Late Late Show with us. They really had their shit together and were a joy to work with. They do a great version of Too Late For Hallelujah. Cheers gang! You were great!
Keep an eye out for Red Empire’s debut album which is coming out soon. We wish Craig and the boys all the best with it. Check out their new video which was made by Daragh Murphy who also made our brilliant documentary, Please Don’t Stop. If you haven’t seen this you are missing out big time! It’s available from our store at www.aslan.ie.
Please get your tickets for these gigs that we are doing because as Barry Scott would say, when they are gone, they’re gone!
Cheers and thanks again for your continued support
Best wishes, Billy 😉
P.S. Check out our performance on the Late Late Show
